In Jerusalem Council I, less than two decades after Jesus’ resurrection,
Jewish followers of Jesus honored His Great Commission by welcoming Gentiles.

In Jerusalem Council II, 2000 years after Jesus’ resurrection, we as the Global Church reaffirm
Jesus’ Great Commission through our synergistic commitment to share with all people
groups the eternal hope God has made available in Jesus Christ.

In Jerusalem Council I, the leaders said, “it seemed good to the Spirit and to us” (Acts
15:28). The Church concluded and has continued to “hear what the Spirit says to the
 churches” (Rev 2:7, 11, 17, 29; 3:6, 13, 22).

In Jerusalem Council II, just as Jerusalem Council I recognized, our mission is grounded in
Scripture, in the good news of what Jesus Christ has done, and empowered by the Spirit, to
serve the global unity of Jesus’ movement and our mission to the world.

The Jerusalem Council I was moved by the Spirit to become global and now, at the Jerusalem
Council II, the Global Church must synergize together to finish the Great Commission.

The Jerusalem Council II will convene August 12-14, 2025 in Athens, Greece. Make plans to join us!
